Bay Path Defeated by Mariners in Pink Out Match

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The “Pretty in Pink” Wildcats despite a valiant effort fell 2-1 to the Mariners of Mitchell College in their final home stand in another New England Collegiate Conference(NECC) match today at Ryan Field. The Wildcats sported pink uniforms for their Pink Out match supporting October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Bay Path Suffers 1-0 Loss to Wheelock

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior goalkeeper Sarah McCaffrey (East Taunton, Mass.) stopped all 15 shots she faced and sophomore midfielder Emma Petner (Hilo, Hawaii) netted the only goal of the match to give the Wheelock College women’s soccer team a 1-0 victory over visiting Bay Path College this evening in a New England Collegiate Conference match at Winsor Field in Boston. Sophomore goalie Marina Rhodes (Providence, RI) made six saves for Bay Path.
Wildcats Fall to Blazers 3-0

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College sophomore midfielder Carmen Marino(Granby, Mass.) scored a pair of second half goals to help pace the Blazers to a 3-0 victory over Bay Path College in Saturday afternoon's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer game at Leary Field. Bay Path's goalkeeper Marina Rhodes (Providence, R.I.) finished with 15 saves facing 28 shots (18 on goal).
Cats Knot with Dogs 2-2 in Women’s Soccer Actions

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- The Wildcats of Bay Path College faced the Bulldogs of Dean College to a double overtime 2-2 tie today in a women’s soccer bout played on Ryan Field. The lengthy bout just made it past the sunset on the 2:25 minute match with numerous injuries on a cold wet October afternoon with the Wildcats notching their second tie now 2-8-2 on the season and Dean coming away with a 7-4-1 overall record.

LEICESTER, Mass. - Becker College defeated Bay Path College, 5-1 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field. The Hawks of Becker are now 4-5-2 and 2-1 in the conference standings, while the Wildcats of Bay Path drop to 2-7-1 and 1-2 in the NECC. Junior Keelin Dougherty (Northfield, N.H) broke through the scoreless drought the Wildcats have had for the last three contests scoring in the final minute of play.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.âThe Bay Path Wildcats hosted the Lynx of Lesley University this afternoon in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) womenâs soccer action with the Lynx shutting down the Wildcats 8-0 at Ryan Field. Junior midfielder Veronica Halen (San Diego, Calif.) led the Lynx with a hat-trick along with two assists topping all players on the day with eight points.
The Pride Conquer the Wildcats in NECC Action 5-0

LONGMEADOW, Mass.-The Wildcats of Bay Path hosted the Pride of Regis College in another New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) womenâs soccer match-up this wet and chilly fall afternoon on the Ryan Field to a 5-0 loss for host Bay Path. The Prideâs Michelle Sirois (Easton, Mass.) led the attack for the Pride tallying two goals and two assists. Bay Pathâs tag-team goalkeepers of sophomore Nicole Ogden (Springfield, Mass.) and Marina Rhodes (Providence, R.I.) came away with a combined six saves facing 18 shots on the game.

LONGMEADOW, Mass.- Bay Path College fell 9-0 to Mount Holyoke in regional women’s soccer action today at Ryan Field. The Lyons were led by sophomore forward Hannah Yee (Amherst, Mass.) tallying nine points including the first four goals while chipping in an assist.
Toler Named NECC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

ATTLEBORO, Mass.-Sophomore Melissa Toler (Paso Robles, Calif.) led the Wildcats to an impressive 2-0 week after a rough start for Bay Path including a 4-0 shut-out against Anna Maria and a 4-2 NECC victory over Newbury. Toler, currently, tops the Wildcats for scoring this season and tallied three goals this week. Against the Nighthawks, she notched two goals including the eventual game winner for Bay Path. Her final insurance goal for the 4-2 victory would include a game finishing collision between Toler and the Newbury keeper.

Sophomore goalie Marina Rhodes (Providence, R.I.) suffered the loss giving up five goals in the first thirty minutes of play. She faced eight shots and had three saves. Sophomore keeper Nicole Ogden (Springfield, Mass.) had ten saves facing 21 shots allowing three goals.

Wildcats Tie for 3rd at SUNY Canton Women’s Soccer Tourney

CANTON, N.Y- In day one of the SUNY Canton Soccer Tournament the host Roos defeated Morrisville State 6-0 , while the Wildcats of Bay Path fell to the Spartans of D’Youville 7-0 in day one of the tourney. The Spartans eventually took the title defeating the host SUNY Canton 3-2 in the championship match, while Bay Path managed to stay knotted with the Mustangs in the consolation game.
