Watson Two-Time NECC Player of the Week

ATTLEBORO, Mass.- For the second time this season junior No.1 player Symone Watson (Hamden, Conn.) has been named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) women's tennisplayer of the week announced today by NECC Commissioner Del Malloy.
Watson guided the Wildcats to a 8-1 NECC victory over Lesley University defeating Katie Side 6-1, 6-0 in singles action, while teaming with Stephanie Morin they swept the No.1 Lynx tandem of Side and Jillian Clarke 8-0.
Currently, Watson is 7-3 overall in No.1 singles and is on a two-game winning streak. She is 6-4 in doubles play. In conference, she is 2-2 for both singles and doubles action.
